Volkswagen Semler Finance is growing and is looking for a dynamic and experienced IT Solution Architect. This exciting role is a great opportunity to join a newly established joint venture between  Volkswagen Financial Services and Denmark's largest car import business, Semler Group.

As IT Solution Architect, you will be tasked with analysing the needs of the business, translating these into technical specifications and delivering the solutions. You will lead the design and conceptualisation of IT solutions and play a key role in developing the overarching architecture of the solutions, including the system's structure, components, interfaces, and data flows. The production og the solutions is delivered by external partners. You will work closely with these to ensure progress and quality.

To succeed in this role, you probably have a relevant higher education degree (e.g., BSc/MSc) and possess solid technical expertise, analytical thinking, communication skills, and business insight. You have a proven track record in a similar role, preferably within the financial sector. 

Knowledge of ITIL processes and/or COBIT processes, experience in an ISO27001/02-based information security environment, and Danish language skills are all advantageous but not mandatory.

The ideal candidate will be structured, systematic, and persistent, comfortable with change and eager to work in a cooperative, team-oriented environment. A degree of extroversion is beneficial for this role due to its cooperative, negotiation-focused nature.
