Help move a market-leading product forward
Lenus is looking for a Software Engineer who is capable of taking ownership of the delivery lifecycle. This entails communication with key stakeholders, monitoring deployed code and being available to solve immediate issues.
As a Software Engineer, your mission will be to help move Lenus’ product efforts forward by either participating in or leading their product development projects. You will be expected to adopt best practices in software engineering design, testing, documentation, build, deployment, and operations and you will own key components within the platform: In this case, “owning" means envisioning, designing, creating, building, and supporting.
Furthermore, Lenus envisions that you will join and lead discussions around different platform initiatives and occasionally take charge of troubleshooting and maintaining high quality and low bug count in their core products.
Your qualifications as a Software Engineer
Ideally, you are an engineer at heart (click here to read about values, work culture and tech-stack) and possess most of the following skills and personal qualifications:
- Have 1,5+ years of experience in hands-on software development.
- Have solid written and verbal communication, are able to clearly articulate technically complex problems and solutions to both technical and non-technical colleagues.
- Are proficient in at least one either front-end (preferably React) and/or back-end (preferably Node.js) tech stack.
- Have experience in working with relational databases like PostgreSQL.
- Attentive to detail with a high focus on writing high quality, maintainable code.
- Are a true believer and a practitioner of automated testing at all levels.
- Are willing and able to pick up new technologies and frameworks when required.
Join a diverse engineering team and a growing company
With more than 200 dedicated people in the organisation, you will join a product organization of +40 people who are engineers, UX designers and Product Owners. The team is a young, technology-loving, music playing, ramen eating group and they work hard, workout hard, and occasionally, party hard - a social and fun workplace is certainly valued.
You will be able to develop yourself in the direction you prefer. In a growing team, there will be a demand for both a high degree of specialisation as well as a broader perspective of a generalist.
Lastly, Lenus are financially stable, thanks to fast-growing monthly recurring revenues (currently around 16M DKK/Month) and MtM growth of ca. 10%. Therefore, they are able to offer more than competitive pay to the candidates with the right values and set of competencies.
