Lenus eHealth helps fitness professionals build a strong and sustainable business by offering them an all-in-one platform for online coaching together with advisory on business development, marketing and personal branding. The digital product offering includes a full-suite CRM solution for personal trainers to manage their clients, as well as coach-branded web and mobile apps for end-users to receive programmes for meals and workouts, track progress over time and communicate with the coach.

Help move a market-leading product forward
Lenus is looking for a Senior Software Engineer who loves to code and who has a product-oriented focus. In return, you will have a great influence on the code written and you will ensure that good software engineering practices are adopted and followed: design, testing, documentation, deployment, and operations. You will be in close cooperation with the Tech Lead, support the delivery lifecycle and help ensure that immediate issues are solved quickly and efficiently.

As a Senior Software Engineer, your mission will be to help move Lenus’ product efforts forward by either participating in or leading their product development projects. You will own key components within the platform: In this case, “owning" means envisioning, designing, creating, building, and supporting.

Furthermore, Lenus envisions that you will join and lead discussions around different platform initiatives and occasionally take charge of troubleshooting and maintaining high quality and low bug count in their core products. If you’re interested and motivated by mentorship responsibilities, Lenus will support your aspirations.

Your qualifications as a Senior Software Engineer
Ideally, you are an engineer at heart (click here to read about values, work culture and tech-stack) and possess most of the following skills and personal qualifications:

    • Have 4 or more years of experience in software development.
    • Are an expert in either frontend or backend domain.
    • Have a great sense of ownership and experience with taking charge of development projects.
    • Have solid written and verbal communication, are able to clearly articulate technically complex problems and solutions to both technical and non-technical colleagues.
    • Have experience in working with relational databases like PostgreSQL.
    • Attentive to detail with a high focus on writing high quality, maintainable code.
    • Are willing to pick up new technologies and frameworks and implement them with the team when required.
