What you’ll do
Kpler is looking for an experienced Analyst within our Product Operations team based in London. The role will involve ensuring high level of data quality through collection, processing and analysis of crude oil data. You will be required to follow the main events and track the specific trends occurring in the major liquids market. In addition, you will be working on various projects to develop new features or improve Kpler data quality. This will include day-to-day collaboration with teammates from various global offices and teams.
- Daily checks of Kpler data to ensure reliability and accuracy of services provided
- Extract meaningful patterns and detect new trends
- Draft fast-response analysis to ad-hoc requests from clients
- Perform specific analysis to continuously improve our product and data quality
- Attend regular meetings with engineering and product teams to discuss data related topics
You could be a good fit if
•You have 1 to 2 years of experience as a crude oil analyst
•You have experience working with large, disparate and/or unstructured data sets (advanced Excel and SQL skills)
•Strong capabilities in logical thinking with attention to details
•You have an excellent analytical ability, at ease with working with databases, ability to highlight trends and use complex data to support decisions
•Python knowledge would be a plus
•You demonstrate strong interpersonal skills
•You are a team player, quick learner, and able to work within short deadlines across multiple tasks
•You have the ability to work and communicate in an international cross-cultural environment
