What you’ll do
We are looking for a proactive, hands-on Junior Sales Development Representative with the ambition to hunt for business and grow revenues whilst becoming a subject matter expert on the Kpler product suite and commodity market opportunities. Reporting to the Sales Development Manager, this role requires a driven individual who is able to achieve and excel targets. We are a fast-growing company and need people who will take initiative and ownership when executing new business. There is a great opportunity to progress within the business. With your guidance and training, you will effectively communicate the Kpler value proposition with a solutions-based sales approach.
As a Sales Development Representative at Kpler, you will:
-Generate business opportunities through professional, dedicated prospecting via multiple channels
-Use a variety of tools to research prospective clients
-Support Commercial/Account Managers with their lead generation activities
-Develop relationships within target accounts
-Enrich CRM Platform (Salesforce) with relevant and precise information
-Work alongside the marketing team to capitalise on engagement generated from events and their lead generation
-Meet and exceed all quarterly and annual sales quota
-An intrinsic drive to be successful
-Strong communication and presentation skills (verbal and written)
-A proactive, ‘hunter’ mentality
-Highly personable, and confident interacting in-person and over the phone with senior personnel
-Experience in sales development and/or sales within SaaS B2B business strongly preferred.
-Engaging copywriting skills and experience of delivering compelling emails and communications to stand out from the crowd
-Organised, structured, able to work under pressure, but effective and capable to meet deadlines
-Professional customer-centric manner
-Desire to learn, and a keen interest in developing a career within a high performing sales culture
-Tech-savvy with a genuine interest in disruptive technologies and current market trend
-Enjoys working in a dynamic start-up culture, contributing new and creative Ideas
