As Kpler continues to scale, the requirement to build strong and efficient processes is essential to delivering a seamless experience for our Legal, Risk & Compliance (LRC) function. We are seeking a DDQ Paralegal to manage and streamline our due diligence response process while supporting the ongoing optimisation of LRC systems, tools, and workflows.
You will play a key role in strengthening the operational backbone of the LRC team - taking
ownership of DDQ responses, coordinating cross-functional input, managing internal and external information requests, and driving process improvements. You will also support systems administration and ensure consistent compliance with regulatory and investor requirements. Your work will enable scalability and ensure a smooth, responsive experience for internal teams and external stakeholders globally
Responsibilities - Due Diligence Coordination
- Coordinate the completion of Due Diligence Questionnaires (DDQs), including those with technical and cybersecurity inquiries, collaborating with relevant departments (IT, Engineering, LRC).
- Assist in gathering, organising, and formatting responses to DDQs, ensuring accurate and compliant responses to technical questions.
- Maintain up-to-date templates and document repositories for frequently asked questions and recurring DDQ topics.
Responsibilities - LRC Systems & Process Management
- Maintain, update and optimise workflows across LRC systems (e.g., Jira, IronClad,ComplyAdvantage, shared LRC drive).
- Act as LRC’s SME for Jira ticketing system, ensuring team-wide adoption and consistency.
- Collaborate with IT and cross-functional teams to troubleshoot challenges and implement system improvements.
- Manage user access and permissions across LRC platforms, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
- Identify opportunities to automate, simplify and scale processes across the LRC function.
Responsibilities - LRC Support & Management
- Organise and manage support pathways; escalate complex requests to appropriate LRC team members and/or any other internal/external stakeholders.
- Respond to initial queries (e.g., policies, systems, workflows) and ensure efficient request resolution through Jira, centralised inbox or designated slack channels.
- Monitor ticket resolution times and maintain SLA performance standards, providing insights for continuous improvement.
Responsibilities - Data & Compliance
- Maintain a secure and organised database of legal, technical, and compliance documents for efficient DDQ reference.
- Maintain up-to-date templates and document repositories for frequently asked questions and recurring DDQ topics.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity across all systems, adhering to internal policies and data protection standards.
- Support LRC processes including reporting, audit preparation, and access control.
Experience and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Law
- Knowledge of IT/computer science is an asset
- Proven experience as a Paralegal
- Excellent research, analytical, and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

- Familiarity with ticketing systems (such as Jira) and basic legal technology automation
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and resolve issues effectively
- Clear and proactive communication skills in English, both written and verbal, with the ability to support stakeholders across different functions and locations
- Adaptable, curious and motivated to learn and grow within a collaborative LRC team
