The Opportunity

    • We’re seeking a detail-oriented and proactive professional to support our accounts receivable and credit control operations on a 12-month fixed term contract. As a part of the Accounts team, you’ll be at the heart of our Finance and Business Performance function, supporting the team and delivering high quality services. Day to day you will:

    • Proactively manage credit control and accounts receivable tasks, driving timely collections with precision and a strong commitment to financial integrity.
    • Recommend effective collection strategies to the business, tailored to individual circumstances.
    • Respond to queries from internal stakeholders and external clients in a timely and professional manner.
    • Reconcile ledgers, resolve outstanding balances, and ensure financial accuracy across transactions.
    • Prepare and review sundry invoices, purchase orders, payment files, and cash receipts.
    • Liaise with debt collection agencies and maintain effective working relationships.
    • Complete AR and credit control reporting, identifying and recommending process improvements.
    • Provide backup support to the wider accounts team and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

About you:

    • 3-5 years minimum proven experience in AR and credit control.
    • Leadership capability and a collaborative mindset.
    • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
    • A passion for process improvement and delivering excellent service.
    • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
    • Expertise in financial systems and reconciliations.
    • Confidence to work autonomously and take initiative
