You'll have a vital role to play in working directly with our teams to build better business leaders enabling the delivery of the firm’s vision.

The opportunity:

    • This is a part-time opportunity beginning in the new year.
    • In this role, you will partner directly with our team in Tauranga across all levels to drive a meaningful people experience and delivery of business strategy.

Day to day you will:

    • Provide high quality HR generalist advice, support and solutions on people related matters including employment relations, performance development, culture, IDE and change management
    • Be a trusted advisor and partner with the business to influence and enable the achievement of their objectives
    • Utilise technology to assist in capturing, analysing data, and delivering insights to the business
    • Collaborate with our Talent Acquisition and Learning and Development teams to support internal clients needs
    • Contribute to people focused projects with an emphasis on innovation, efficiency, effectiveness and providing excellent customer outcomes
    • Demonstrate and encourage others to use the KPMG Values to guide their behaviour and decisions

What you'll bring to the team:

    • You'll have at least 18 months of HR generalist advisory experience
    • A working knowledge of HR practices and New Zealand employment legislation
    • The ability to quickly establish, build and maintain strong working relationships
    • Strong influencing skills and the ability to interact with leaders
    • You'll have a growth mindset and continuously strive for personal development
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
    • A positive, can-do attitude
    • The ability to multi-task within a busy environment
    • An inclusive and collaborative manner
