Deal Advisory is a multi-disciplinary team covering a range of services including Restructuring and Insolvency, Transaction Services, Valuations, Modelling, Infrastructure Advisory and Mergers and Acquisitions.

The opportunity:

    • Our Auckland Deals team are looking for a Manager or Senior Manager (depending on experience) to join our Valuations & Financial Modelling team. You will have the opportunity to apply your analytical skills to deliver commercially focused solutions on a wide range of valuation and corporate finance projects, as part of our fun and supportive market-leading team.

Day to day you will:

    • Oversee the preparation of high quality valuation reports and advice and/or financial models
    • Coach and manage a high calibre team of analysts across varying engagements
    • Develop and deliver technical training
    • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and clients
    • Participate in business development and team management initiatives

What you'll bring to the team:

    • 5+ years relevant experience ideally in an accounting, boutique, large corporate or investment firm
    • CA or CFA qualification desirable (but not required)
    • Excellent academic record in a relevant discipline
    • Strong written, communication and analytical/MS excel skills
    • High attention to detail
    • Ability to work independently but also able to collaborate effectively with your team
    • A high level of self-motivation, energy and drive
