The ITS mission statement of “We’re becoming a future-ready digital business, building the technology & A.I. foundation for our multi-disciplinary firm to drive our growth and trust agenda” is central to delivering the technology & A.I. foundation for the Firm’s 5-year strategy. The ITS team is made up of five core pillars: Technology Operations including service desk, Data and Digital including artificial intelligence, Applications, Security and Projects. These pillars are designed and expected to work together to deliver on the ITS mission statement. 

The opportunity:

    • We are looking for an experienced business analyst, ideally someone who is able to learn quickly and work independently.
    • The business analyst role is multi-faceted and supports the delivery of high value projects and initiatives which assist KPMG to become more efficient, cost effective, agile, and competitive.
    • The main focus of this role is to work across the project lifecycle, working with stakeholders to gather information, create business requirements, and ensure the successful embedding of process and technology into operational support and business run state. Our business analysts are expected to participate in project change management and may also provide input to training and support materials.

Day to day you will:

    • Support business and project stakeholders by ensuring assignments and progress are being clearly communicated.
    • Understand business context for proposed projects and desired outcomes.
    • Model business processes and identify opportunities for systems and process improvements.
    • Support in the development of business cases to identify projects; identify issues, risks and benefits of existing and proposed solutions and outline business impacts.
    • Develop target future state process models and review with business stakeholders.
    • Facilitate requirements workshops and document outcomes effectively.
    • Participate in activities that take place during solution ideation, solution design, and solution implementation.
    • Identify required templates/tools/procedures to support project-based initiatives.
    • Ensure the solutions we develop or implement are tested against business requirements.
    • Mentor, train and support more junior Business Analysts and project team members.
    • Assist with knowledge transfer to Training staff, Service Desk staff and SME’s.
    • Build and maintain effective relationships with various stakeholders to support and champion continuous improvement at KPMG.

What you'll bring to the team:

    • Strong technical skills.
    • Experience in business analyst methodologies, frameworks and guiding principles.
    • Strategic thinking and experience in facilitating trade-offs between competing business needs.
    • Results oriented (proven delivery) and ability to excel in multi-disciplinary environment.
    • Strong leadership and managerial skills, a skilled communicator.
    • Ability to develop & facilitate innovative business solutions (negotiation, communication, influencing skills).
    • Understanding of Enterprise Architecture and business capability models.
    • Project change management, training and facilitation.
    • High integrity & ability to build trust & deliver outstanding outcomes.
    • Active listening, persuading and influencing, informal presentation, conflict resolution, informal group facilitation.
    • Excellent interpersonal and written / verbal communication skills. 
    • Influencing and educating stakeholders across all levels of a business.
    • Ability to troubleshoot and quickly identify and diagnose issues and resolve.
