Kraken is also the first global crypto exchange that has been awarded a full crypto exchange license in the UAE (FSP license under ADGM).  

The Kraken MENA organization is spearheading our advance in the region on the foundation of Kraken’s global capabilities. We are looking for an experienced professional to lead our institutional sales team, reporting into the Chief Commercial Officer MENA. The role will be part of the MENA leadership team. The successful candidate will oversee business development and drive the growth of our institutional client base. This position is also expected to improve daily processes and procedures, support and implement change, support the team towards achieving our goals.


    • Drive sustainable growth in the MENA region
    • Identify and develop prospective clients
    • Identify further opportunities within the existing client base
    • Build and expand strong relationships to investment decision makers across funds, brokers, banks, family offices and corporate treasurers 
    • Work with our team of experts to arrange PR events and roadshows
    • Develop a deep understanding of clients’ needs and expectations and how to best serve them on the foundation of Krakens service offering
    • Ensure effective sales processes and team performance


    • Bachelor or Master’s degree
    • At least 10 years experience in sales, client services or account management with international financial background in banking and/or investments
    • At least 3 years in a team leadership role 
    • At least 5 years in MENA, with a strong personal client network to relevant decision makers 
    • General knowledge of the institutional investment management and mutual fund business
    • Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
    • Fluent English is a must, Arabic is a plus
