The Role
We’re looking for a Senior Marketing Copywriter to help us communicate all the amazing things we’re doing and to support in promoting Kraken around the world.
You’ll work on all our marketing efforts, from website copy and ad creative to helping us produce engaging customer-focused content. Importantly, you’ll also help in the development of our tone of voice and champion that across the business to support others in their writing.
This is a full-time position based in London.
You’ll be part of the Marketing Team!
Reporting to the Creative Director, you’ll be part of a multidisciplinary team of filmmakers, designers, writers and illustrators.
We’re not a marketing team in the traditional sense — we work closely with teams across the business to truly understand how we can get more people using our technology and create real change in the industry. We don’t use agencies: everything is produced in-house, so you’ll get the chance to work on some really big and exciting projects.
Approach
We’re disrupting the energy industry, and we take the same approach with our creative. We're looking for someone who’s happy to get stuck into understanding energy, our products and our customers, and is happy to collaborate with lots of people across the business to create really effective work.
You'd be a great fit if
- You’ve got experience in writing for marketing teams
- You’ve worked on establishing or managing a brand tone of voice
- You’re happy to get stuck into any project and don’t mind taking on a challenge
- You’ve a desire to write stuff that connects with our customers and increases engagement
- You’re interested in sustainability and green technology
- You’re available for a full-time position based in London with at least 3 days a week in the office (it’s a great office with lots of nice people, so we know you’ll love it)
- You like working across lots of different projects
- You’re comfortable helping people understand what good writing looks like
What you'll get up to in this role
- Driving Website Content - Ensuring website updates and content creation move quickly and efficiently
- Creating Clear, Engaging Copy - Translating complex technical information into compelling, concise, and accessible marketing content
- Supporting Product Marketing - Providing the words needed across campaigns, product pages, and marketing materials
- Developing Brand Voice - Helping to define and refine our tone of voice across all content
- Being Creative with Words - Crafting slogans, one-liners, and engaging copy for campaigns
- Owning Big Projects - Taking charge of key content initiatives, from defining tone of voice to increasing engagement
- Collaborating Across Teams - Working closely with stakeholders, writers, and technical experts to produce high-quality content
