Who are we looking for?

We’re looking for a brilliant Client Delivery Lead with experience in data / data migrations and a track record of supporting their own or others’ data teams - ideally in the energy sector. You’ll help clients transition to using Kraken data, transform their internal data capabilities in service of larger business transformation, and shape our data product roadmap based on real-world needs.

About the role

You’ll work directly with clients and cross-functional Kraken teams to support the successful delivery of our Kraken Distribution solution. This role focuses on helping clients migrate data into Kraken and unlock value from their data in the platform - enabling insightful reporting, resolving data-related questions, and advising on how to build transformative analytics capabilities within the energy distribution space.

We’re looking for a hands-on Client Delivery Lead who can flex across a range of needs - diving into data and migration challenges and writing SQL queries, to advising stakeholders and upskilling both clients and internal teams. You’ll play a key role in making sure our clients get the most out of Kraken Distribution's powerful data systems.

What you'll do

    • Support clients to migrate data to Kraken via the platform’s migration APIs (i.e., support ETL migration processes)
    • Drive the migration process, working collaboratively across client, partner and Kraken teams to deliver successful project outcomes (i.e., on time delivery)
    • Help document and build out the Kraken Distribution data model
    • Guide clients in transitioning foundational reporting to Kraken, through hands-on support, working sessions, and trainings
    • Support clients in developing their internal data capabilities, both directly and in collaboration with Kraken partners
    • Partner with engineering to deliver new data features and requirements aligned to client use cases
    • Train Kraken’s broader client delivery team on the skills to support client data questions and needs in their respective domains
    • Ensure we are constantly reviewing and adapting to customer and business needsPotential to build a small, regional team to further scale work

What you'll have

    • Degree qualified equivalent, with strong client delivery and/or product ownership experience
    • Experience working on migrating data and/or products from legacy systems to modern platforms
    • Experience working with data and data teams, for example as a data analyst, data scientist, analytics engineer, data consultant or similar
    • Strong familiarity with modern data practices and tools
    • Strong facility with SQL and modern BI toolsStrong agile delivery experience skills
    • Excellent communications, collaboration and presentation skills
    • Strong influencing skills and ability to challenge traditional ways of thinking
    • Patience - our clients are undergoing huge transformations that take time and require our understanding
    • Experience in the energy sector a plus
    • Consulting experience a plus
