From optimising renewable generation, creating a more intelligent grid and enabling utilities to provide excellent customer experiences, our operating system for energy is transforming the industry around the world in a way that benefits everyone.

It’s a really exciting time in energy. Help us make a real impact on shaping a better, more sustainable future.

KrakenFlex

The energy industry is undergoing the largest transformation since industrialisation at an unprecedented rate of change and we are positioning ourselves to be at the heart of that change.

Our aim is to be the leading global provider of solutions that enable customers to release £30bn of value per annum from distributed energy resources (DERs). We are building a Software as a Service (SaaS) subscription business with a global addressable market of £2.4 billion per annum, by digitally connecting hundreds of thousands of DERs with energy markets.

We have already attained a market leading position and KrakenFlex is a recognised thought leader and innovator in the industry.

We have recently opened a technology centre in Manchester to test energy assets such as electric vehicles, solar panels, and heat pumps, to smart enable them and to bring on a greener grid. As well as hardtesting assets, this will also provide a show space to facilitate innovative testing, meaning that day to day we’re welcoming and liaising with manufacturers, engineering firms, and hardware firms.

We are looking for a Centre Manager to act as the primary contact for this facility. You will manage the daily running of the centre which could include ordering equipment, supporting projects, administrative duties, as well as maintaining a safe and positive environment for work. You will be joining an experienced and energetic team of Office Managers across the Octopus Energy Group, with a culture that fosters collaboration, fluidity, and the application of fresh and original thinking to the creation of a new energy system. • Experience running and facilitating events- both internal and external
    • Experience in maintaining Health and Safety standards and/ or running Health and Safety programmes

Whoever you are, if you like one of our jobs, we encourage you to apply as you might just be the candidate we hire. Across Octopus, we're looking for genuinely decent people who are honest and empathetic.
