Purpose:
The Commercial Strategy Specialist will play a critical role in identifying, analyzing, and implementing process improvements to enhance the overall experience of our merchants using KueskiPay InStore. This role involves working directly with merchants to understand their needs, identifying areas for improvement, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement solutions that drive customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Merchant Engagement: Regularly visit merchant locations to build and maintain strong relationships, understand their pain points, and gather feedback on current processes.
- Process Analysis: Conduct thorough analysis of existing merchant-related processes, identifying inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement.
- Solution Development: Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., Product, Marketing, Customer Support) to develop and implement process improvements that enhance the merchant experience.
- Training and Support: Provide training and support to merchants on new processes and tools, ensuring smooth transitions and high adoption rates.
- Performance Monitoring: Track the performance of implemented solutions, using key metrics and merchant feedback to measure success and identify further improvement opportunities.
- Reporting: Prepare and present detailed reports on process improvement initiatives, outcomes, and merchant satisfaction levels to senior management.
- Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and best practices in merchant experience and process improvement.
Position Requirements (Experience & Competencies)
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, or a related field.
- Proven experience in field sales, process improvement, or a related role within the retail industry.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze complex processes and data to identify areas for improvement.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in using Tableau, CRM software (Salesforce) and other sales tools.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to travel extensively to visit merchant locations.
