Objective:
Accountable to define, deploy and test effective technological solutions for credit risk management and fraud prevention, in a close collaboration with Product, Data Science, Engineering and internal Risk and Fraud teams.
Responsible for the decision engine management to ensure appropriate execution of underwriting criteria for credit risk and fraud prevention assessment.
Manage the experimental framework to ensure permanent improvement of analytical and technological tools.


Requirements

    • 5+ years of experience in the Financial industry, mainly focused on Consumer Credit or
    • Risk Retail areas
    • 3+ years leading project development teams.
    • 2+ years of experience focused on Decision Engine management and automatic underwriting assessment capabilities development.
    • Proven experience in:
    • Developing, implementing and tracking risk policies.
    • UAT proving and other testing of automated solutions.
    • Designing and deploying risk and fraud prevention tools
    • Clear understanding of end-to-end credit processes with special focus on underwriting
    • Bachelor’s degree and desirable master or specialized studios in coding, project management.
    • Solid understanding of experimental design applied to A/B testing, champion-challengers, control groups.
    • Experience working with SQL or SAS.
    • English language (advanced)

Responsabilities

    • Coordinate the deployment and testing of new and adjusted risk assessment criteria.
    • Main point of contact for deployment, maintainance or adjustment of any matter related to risk and fraud tools, including but not limited to: dashboards, monitoring systems, decision systems, data sources, etc.
    • Close collaboration within the organization in order to understand the business needs and communicate opportunities related with the underwriting process including both credit risk concerns and opportunities.
    • Keep key stakeholders informed about development advances and ensure that relevant concerns are timely escalated.
    • Identify material matters related to credit risk and policies and propose alternatives.
