The content marketing specialist is a brand ambassador who will develop engaging, world-class content to build a brand identity and online presence through the creation and dissemination of multimedia content online. This person will have an audience-first mindset, be an adept copywriter, and possess a high level of graphic design skills. The content marketing specialist will lead the process for identifying, initiating, and producing content across all marketing channels while leveraging SEO best practices, industry/competitive analyses, and staying on top of current trends. This individual will be responsible for overall marketing content curation as well as email marketing, social media management, and other digital marketing initiatives.

RESPONSIBILITTIES:

1. Be a Badass Creative Writer: You will produce high-quality, shareable content that drives website traffic and increases lead generation through well-written, clear and concise content

a. Create content including but not limited to newsletters, emails, blog posts, social media, case studies, and website copy
b. Manage and monitor KPIs to ensure content is increasing brand awareness, driving website traffic, and generating new members and corporate leads
c. Create and execute a long-term content strategy that supports the marketing department and ProduKtive’s 5-year vision

2. Be the Resident Digital Guru: You will strategize, create, and manage our email marketing and social media initiatives to increase brand engagement and sales

a. Develop and manage our email marketing campaigns to drive membership and corporate revenue. (Knowledge of HubSpot a plus!)
b. Build and maintain social media presence through on-brand content and high-quality imagery and graphics
c. Develop a social media content calendar and strategy while staying on top of social trends and engaging new methods and marketing opportunities
d. Manages the project lifecycle for training projects and maintains project documentation on the shared drive and in project management software
e. Responsible for short and long-term marketing KPIs ensuring organization is on track with its annual goals

3. Support the Marketing Department: You will play an integral role in supporting the marketing team through additional project support, brainstorming, and graphic design

a. Produce marketing collateral including social media images and graphics, sales support materials, website graphics, as well as other graphic design needs
b. Manage customer service inquiries and engage with potential customers through social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter
c. Performs other duties as assigned or deemed necessary by management



QUALIFICATIONS

- College degree in marketing, communication, journalism, or related field
- One to three years of previous content creation experience
- Exceptional content creation, copywriting/editing skills, with a clear and concise writing style
- Strong graphic design skills
- Must be highly motivated and a quick learner
- Extremely detail-oriented, well organized
- Ability to work in a start-up culture and a willingness to roll up your sleeves and get the job done
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud Suite, Google Suite, Microsoft Office Suite, WordPress, and other CMS
- Knowledge of digital marketing software, tools, and methods with a focus on content and SEO
- Understanding of SEO best practices, application, and analysis
- Experience working collaboratively with peers and support teams on multi-faceted projects
