Our company continues to grow actively, so we're currently seeking an Data Engineer (Machine Learning) to join our newly established outsourcing team. This role involves developing a new direction within the company and collaborating with clients of various sizes and industries, including Kyivstar, to deliver software development services tailored to their specific requirements.

What you will do:

    • Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable data pipelines to support machine learning models 
    • Work closely with data scientists to implement and deploy scalable machine learning models 
    • Ensure data quality and integrity throughout our data architecture 
    • Optimize data retrieval, develop dashboard solutions, and perform data analysis to support business decisions 
    • Stay updated with advances in data persistence and big data technologies 
    • Incorporate new data management technologies and software engineering practices into existing structures.

Qualifications and experience needed:

    • Proven experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role, with a focus on machine learning projects
    • Strong programming skills in Python, including experience with Pandas, NumPy, and Scikit-learn 
    • Experience with big data tools (Hadoop, Spark) 
    • Experience with data processing architectures (Lambda, Kappa) 
    • Proficiency in building and optimizing 'big data' data pipelines, architectures, and data sets 
    • Experience with machine learning algorithms and how to scale them 
    • Familiarity with data pipeline and workflow management tools: Luigi, Airflow, etc. 
    • Knowledge of cloud services (AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Azure) and their data processing tools 
    • A solid understanding of SQL and experience with relational databases, as well as NoSQL databases 
    • Strong analytical skills related to working with unstructured datasets 
    • Upper-intermediate English level 
    • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
