About the role:
The VP of Finance is a key leadership role on our small executive team. We’re looking for a collaborative financial partner to help us grow our business. Reporting directly to the Founder, you’ll help us understand the financial insights that will unlock better business performance.
Responsibilities
* Own all aspects of FP&A and accounting operations including : financial reporting, forecasts, budgeting, financial analysis, cash management, managing our PEO, procurement & ensure controls are in place.
* Serve as a strategic partner to the Founder and Executive Team to help drive performance across the business in areas ofrevenue growth and operating efficiency. Provide business decision support with excellent, detailed, incisive financial analysis and modeling.
* Lead the company’s budgeting process, and ensure the team delivers on it.
* Ensure monthly financial reports are completed, with useful commentary, and distributed monthly to investor stakeholders.
* Manage Board meetings, materials, and communications.
* Help define and lead Executive Team quarterly leadership meetings.
* Communicate effectively with team members on finance business processes.

About You:
* Master's degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance ; high-ranked MBA program preferred
* 15+ years of experience in finance roles at growing technology companies.
* 4+ years of experience in a VP leadership role, with direct experience interacting with boards and board committees
* At least 4 years of managerial experience
* Deep subject matter expertise in Corporate FP&A; experience having led the corporate FP&A function for a similar organization.
* Experience with subscription businesses and metrics a plus.
* Mastery of modern financial tech stack - Excel/Sheets, Quickbooks/Xero, Carta, etc.
* New York City area preferred, remote possible
$175,000 - $225,000 a year
