As Lalamove continues to expand super-fast – an opportunity has arisen to join us as Director, Marketing.   Based in Hong Kong, the incumbent will report to the Chief Operating Officer, Lalamove, and lead Lalamove’s marketing function across the globe.  We are looking for a strong senior executive who is results and data-driven, has a strong business mindset, and possesses a proven track record leading successful, full-spectrum marketing teams across multiple locations.

    • Stakeholder Management: Ability to work with a variety of stakeholders across different levels and function expertise

What you'll do:

    • Manage conception, development, and implementation of marketing plans and strategies, and promotional programs to drive interest and sales
    • Oversee implementation of the marketing strategy - including campaigns, events, digital marketing, and PR.
    • Spearhead the strategic and tactical execution of marketing campaigns, including design of test/control segmentation, implementation of tests, tracking, results reporting, analysis, and recommendations
    • Responsible for the marketing organization structure, guiding the day-to-day activities of the marketing team.
    • Identify short-term and long-term scheduling, budget, and resource needs, including the development and management of an annual marketing budget, profit/loss projections, expenditure, and other financial considerations
    • Collaborate with the business teams to uncover insights and strategies to develop and implement marketing and branding strategies for new and existing products, internally and externally
    • Oversee and grow the marketing department, consistently identifying revenue opportunities within our established client base and managing consistent growth.
    • Create processes, and operating procedures and define clear roles and responsibilities between market and functional office teams.
    • Undertake continuous analysis of the competitive environment and consumer trends

What you'll need:

    • Minimum 8 years of work experience gained from headquarters or regional headquarters of MNCs
    • Highly proficient with marketing technology tools and understands the complex marketing tracking infrastructures
    • Extremely familiar with the concept of integrated marketing campaigns. 
    • Experience in leading marketing planning and budgeting processes.
    • Previous experience in paid acquisition, online advertising, CRM, Retention marketing, or other growth marketing related roles would be a plus
    • Extremely familiar with marketing metrics such as CAC, CPO, CVR, CPL etc
    • Experience in leading international / multi-cultural teams across LATAM, SEA
