As a Senior Data Infrastructure Engineer, you will contribute to the design, build, and running of our data infrastructure, to increase the flexibility, scalability, and efficiency of the Lalamove data infrastructure, which is the foundation of business analytics, reporting, data engineering, and data science. You will be deploying applications and scaling different components of our data platform on AWS. You will contribute to the cost-efficiency and security of the infrastructure, as well as automation and monitoring.
What we seek:
- Ensure the stability of our Hadoop cluster
- Manage and handle the infrastructure operations, incident response process, cost and performance optimization of our data clusters and related systems
- Set up and manage the monitoring infrastructure
- Design and develop infrastructure automation for scalability
- Collaborate with Core Infrastructure team, and other data engineering teams to scale our data systems to meet the rapid data growth
What you’ll need:
- 5+ years of relevant experience
- Strong knowledge of big data technologies and cloud computing, with experience in architecture design on the cloud
- Extensive experience with managing Hadoop clusters on the cloud, with good knowledge of the Hadoop ecosystem
- Experience in monitoring tools such as Zabbix and Grafana
- Good command of English and Mandarin
- Experience with Docker for containerization and Kubernetes for orchestration and production scaling is a plus
- Experience with infrastructure automation, and tools such as Ansible is a plus
