The Senior Social Media Manager is a new role at Lambda School and one with limitless scope.  
Lambda’s School’s social media strategy is critical to the companies omni-channel strategy and this role will be hyper-focused on driving brand awareness, consumer engagement, visits to Lambda’s website, and new student applications, as well as supporting alumni and employer content led community building.

This creative, experienced, self-motivated and mission-driven person will manage all social media platforms and work alongside a broad range of internal and external stakeholders including business leads, hiring partners, and students to help create content tailored to each platform and groups strategic needs.

This position reports to the Director of Communications, works closely with the Creative Director, and is part of the Lambda Growth Team.

What you'll need

    • 5+ years experience managing social media for a medium to large brand required
    • Experience building and managing teamsVery strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Ability to work autonomously in a self-directed, organized way
    • Demonstrated design and visual talent, with keen graphic and editing skills
    • An ability to rework content to fit our voice and work with freelancers to do so
    • An ability to understand cultural pulse and tone of our key audiences and the content that inspires and influences them
    • Flexibility and the ability to handle pressure under deadlines, particularly when having to pick up new projects and content on the fly
