What’s the opportunity?
We're looking for candidates to join the Partnerships team at Lambda School. The Partnerships team’s charter is to cultivate a worldwide network of recruiting partners to help our students land jobs when they complete the program.

In this role, you'll be joining one of the most important education companies today and helping shape one of our key functions: building a deep network of worldwide partners who consistently recruit and hire our students. You will have the opportunity to inform our strategy and vision as we shape partner management at Lambda School.

We need people who are partner obsessed and willing to go the extra mile to deepen partner relationships. If you love building something new, advocating for others (you will be a constant advocate for our students), engaging with partners and students for most of your day, and delivering life changing results, this role is for you.

What you'll do
Your job is to grow the number of Lambda School students working for our existing partners.  Your will deepen relationships with existing partners (anyone who has recruited Lambda School students in the past), understand the recruiting challenges they face, and continuously and creatively highlight the value of Lambda School. You will act as the expert point of contact for all things Lambda School for the partner company. You will work hand in hand with the rest of our Partnerships team to ensure partners complete recruiting cycles, and once a partner has hired a Lambda graduate, you will own the ongoing relationship. You will manage a process for regular check-ins to see how students are transitioning into the new job, and you will be the first person to know anytime the partner is hiring for a new role.

You must be an evangelist, always ready to tell the Lambda School story and the stories of individual students. You need to believe in the power of Lambda School to put individuals on new career and life trajectories.

Duties and Responsibilities

    • You will own a book of accounts and will constantly work for ways to get new Lambda candidates in process for open opportunities
    • Help guide partners through the recruiting cycle by getting them setup on our applicant tracking system and sharing opportunities with students
    • Manage regular check-ins with partner companies
    • Collect partner feedback and share with the relevant teams inside Lambda School Generate interest from students for opportunities with partner companies
    • Find the right people, timelines, and initiatives to get recruiting cycles done
    • Add to the knowledge base of the Partnerships org
    • Contribute to the Growth, Admissions, Outcomes, and Student Success teams to make Lambda School a better company

What You'll Need

    • Hustle. This role will require a lot of autonomy, leadership and a focus on actionable results
    • You have a reputation for your superhuman work ethic
    • 3+ years of experience in a customer facing role (bonus for account management)
    • Experience building enduring relationships with customers and colleaguesIncredible written and verbal communication skills. You have to be a top tier communicator
    • You should be someone who is energized by presenting to and interacting with partners
    • The ability to think creatively, and collaborate with a wide variety of teams
    • A willingness to do whatever it takes at Lambda to make the product (and your team!) successful
    • Student obsession: you will need to be obsessed with our students and hyper focused on developing relationships that will lead to jobs for our student body
