Lamudi Group is an online real estate marketplace with active operations penetrating the majority of the market in Mexico, Philippines and Indonesia. We were founded in 2014 and recently acquired by an established investor in the real estate industry, EMPG Group. Lamudi has been pushing boundaries in the PropTech space and is looking at dominating the Asian market with new products and services that will service the growing need in the real estate business.

The opportunity:

As part of the Talent Acquisition Team, you are assisting in the proper staffing of technical positions within the organization. As the Technical Recruiter, your role includes but not limited to sourcing, screening, and providing shortlist of qualified candidates for various technical roles. You will also network online and offline with potential candidates to promote our employer brand, reduce time-to-hire and ensure we attract the best professionals.
 
Your mission is to build a strong tech talent pipeline and help hire and retain skilled employees for our IT/Technical positions.

You are great at:

    • Writing and posting technical job descriptions
    • Sourcing potential candidates
    • Parsing  specialized skills and qualifications to screen IT resumes
    • Performing pre-screening calls to analyze applicants’ abilities
    • Interviewing candidates combining various methods (e.g. structured interviews, technical assessments, and behavioral questions)
    • Coordinating with IT team leaders in forecasting department goals and hiring needs
    • Crafting and sending personalized recruiting emails with current job openings to passive candidates
    • Promoting company’s reputation as a great place to work
    • Conducting job and task analyses to document job duties and requirements
    • Keeping up-to-date with new technological trends and products
    • Supporting HR development activities
    • Participating in tech conferences and meetups to network with IT professionals

What it takes:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Human Resources Management, IT, or relevant field
    • 3+ years’ experience in a related field
    • Hands-on experience with various interview formats (e.g phone, online)
    • Technical expertise with an ability to understand and explain job requirements for the IT roles
    • Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems and resume databases and niche platforms like Github
    • Solid knowledge of sourcing techniques (e.g. social media recruiting, Boolean search)
    • Experience working with a diverse team and striving for fairness in hiring
    • Very strong communicator both in written and verbal skills
    • Solid understanding of HR practices and labor legislation
    • Well-organized and structured working style
