We are seeking an experienced and proficient Assistant Finance Manager to support and maintain the financial stability of a business. You will work directly under our Financial Manager, by helping the manager analyze and improve our company's financial standing. This position addresses tight deadlines and a multitude of accounting activities including financial reporting, tax and accounting support, as well as supporting compliance. You will be responsible for financial analysis and financial reporting, budgeting/forecasting, audit and control, asset and liability reconciliation, and cash control.

Your key responsibilities are;

    • Assist in the management day-to-day operations and assignments of accounting staff, plan and organize work, communicate goals, schedules/assign work
    • Assist in managing revenues received and dispersed including accounts receivable, Accounts payable, payroll, audit, general ledger reporting, and cash handling functions
    • Implement and maintain acceptable accounting practices and procedures as required by company policy and procedures, generally accepted accounting practices, and affected by local conditions
    • Assist in managing the cash flow and supervise financial transactions within the company to ensure there are no discrepancies in reports
    • Prepare financial analysis of company operations including variance explanations and make recommendations to ensure the achievement of business goals
    • Prepare company and department budgets and financial forecasts and reporting
    • Ensure all accounts are reconciled on a monthly basis and oversee the process of credit extension and collection of delinquent accounts
    • Monitors all taxes that apply, ensuring that taxes are current, collected and/or accrued
    • Assist with ensuring payments are made
    • Assist with duties as assigned including assisting staff with their job functions

Who We are Looking for

    • Minimum of 4 years of accounting, finance, or valuation experience
    • A bachelor degree from reputable university  in Finance and Accounting or related major
    • Able to identify trends in data and spot inaccuracies
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office package including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
    • Excellent communication and organization skills
    • Deadline driven and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced team environment
    • Proficient in English
