Lamudi Group is an online real estate marketplace with active operations penetrating the majority of the market in Mexico, Philippines and Indonesia. We were founded in 2014 and recently acquired by an established investor in the real estate industry, EMPG Group. Lamudi has been pushing boundaries in the PropTech space and is looking at dominating the Asian market with new products and services that will service the growing need in the real estate business.

The opportunity:

The Web Designer is responsible for the development of functional and appealing web and mobile-based applications through design, based on usability using a combination of markup languages to design and write web pages and mobile screens. He/she must create quality mockups and prototypes on tight timelines and assist back-end developers with coding and troubleshooting. He/she must maintain graphic standards and branding throughout the product's interface. He/she must stay up-to-date on emerging technologies and promote usability best practices.

The Web Designer must have an understanding of layout aesthetics and expertise in user interface know-how with CSS, HTML, JavaScript and jQuery. He/she must have an understanding of the entire web and mobile development process, including design, development and deployment, with some back-end knowledge.

The Web Designer is responsible for interpreting and executing designs correctly, which means he/she must be able to effectively communicate with the product and development team. Must adapt quickly to new web design and application trends.

You are great at:

    • Designing web and mobile application pages and screens
    • Implementing designs via markup languages such as HTML and CSS
    • Creating wireframes and mockups
    • Designing and create other product and marketing collaterals

What it takes:

    • At least 5 years related experience
    • HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery
    • Photoshop and/or Sketch
    • iOS and/or Material Design
