We are seeking a Warehouse and Logistics Material Handler who will have significant internal and external customer interaction, an open mindset of working in a start-up environment, where we all do our part to advance our overall mission. The Supply Chain Technician provides responsive customer support with emphasis on customer satisfaction and builds effective relationships with our external vendors for capital improvements and repairs. The individual will work in a team environment, including providing back-up activities to the Manager, as needed. This position is a daytime Monday-Friday role, with the need to cover occasional off-hour emergencies.
Responsibilities:
The Warehouse and Logistics Material Handlers responsibilities include warehouse management, inventory control and material enrollment, and include:
· Ensure orderly and accurate production and distribution of products by pulling orders from inventory, delivering production materials and supplies where needed, and staging finished product final distribution.
· Perform cycle counts and maintain inventory in digital systems as well as in Excel, when required.
· Contribute to the orderly and accurate operation of material storage areas.
· Maintain inventory by identifying, labeling, and keeping materials and supplies in stock, recording location of inventory, and reporting shortages.
· Locate materials and supplies by pulling and verifying materials and supplies listed on production orders.
· Maintain in-process inventory by delivering and opening materials and supplies.
· Assist in onboarding materials into the enrollment process.
· Receive raw materials, starting materials, samples and recipient orders.
· Review pack lists to ensure all listed items are included.
· Pack and ship GMP and non-GMP shipments by identifying, pulling, packing, crating, loading, and securing product.
· Adhere to workplace safety regulations; ensure safety and compliance.
· Coordinate with Supply Chain management on activities and performance.
· Other duties as required.
Qualifications:
· HS diploma and experience working in a cGMP role required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
· Experience working for a supply chain organization in a cGMP Biotech/Pharmaceutical manufacturing environment preferred.
· Experience working with limited supervision.
· Ability to gown and gain entry to manufacturing areas.
· Ability to wear appropriate PPE and to lift over 50 lbs.
