In pursuit of this mission, we are hiring a Community Engagement Specialist for Everett High School. As a Community Engagement Specialist, you'll be at the heart of transforming education in Lansing. Serve as a resource for students and families, track Lansing Learning Hub goals, and actively shape the future through goal-setting and evaluations. Join us in fostering dynamic community and family connections to create an educational experience that truly makes a difference.

Minimum Qualifications

    • Bachelors degree in education or counseling related field
    • Alignment with Lansing School District's mission and values

Preferred Qualifications

    • Previous successful guidance and youth counseling experience
    • Knowledge of Lansing area resources and alternative education programs

Job Responsibilities

    • Provide guidance and support for families and high school-aged children.
    • Track progress on Lansing Learning Hub goals proactively.
    • Communicate with families and community entities for wrap-around student services.
    • Alert administrators to any concerns.
    • Conduct scheduled conferences with families and community organizations, documenting information.
    • Fully engage in the growth model for goal setting, performance, and evaluations, while actively participating in school activities and meetings.
    • Other duties as assigned to best support the Lansing School District mission
$31,686 - $59,891 a year
