The Assessment Project Manager will oversee the development, implementation, and maintenance of the district’s assessment systems. This role is crucial in ensuring that the district’s assessment strategies align with educational standards and effectively measure student progress.

Qualifications - Education

    • Master’s degree in Education, Educational Measurement, Statistics, or a related field. Doctorate preferred.

Qualifications - Experience

    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in educational assessment, data analysis, and program evaluation.
    • Proven track record of managing large-scale assessment programs and using data to drive instructional improvement.

Qualifications - Skills

    • Strong analytical and statistical skills.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Proficiency in assessment software and data management systems.
    • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.

Sample Job Responsibilities

    • Assessment Management:
    • Develop and implement a comprehensive district-wide assessment plan.
    • Oversee the administration of standardized tests, formative and summative assessments, and other evaluative tools.
    • Ensure compliance with state and federal testing regulations.
    • Data Analysis and Reporting:
    • Analyze assessment data to identify trends, strengths, and areas for improvement.
    • Prepare and present detailed reports to district leadership, school boards, and other stakeholders.
    • Provide actionable insights and recommendations based on data analysis.
    • Program Evaluation:
    • Design and conduct evaluations of instructional programs and initiatives.
    • Collaborate with educators to assess the effectiveness of curriculum and instructional strategies.
    • Implement improvement plans based on evaluation findings.
    • Professional Development:
    • Provide training and support to teachers and administrators on assessment literacy and data-driven instruction.
    • Develop resources and tools to enhance the use of assessment data in instructional planning.
