As we move on to new projects, the studio that brought you Baldur’s Gate 3 & Divinity: Original Sin 2 is looking for an Senior Security Engineer to implement security controls, investigate threats, and ensure best practices are followed across Larian.
Responsibilities
- Identify, assess, and mitigate vulnerabilities in infrastructure components and applications
- Deploy and operate security tools to detect and resolve issues across a wide range of systems
- Run security monitoring, vulnerability assessments, and forensic log analysis to proactively detect incidents and threats
- Perform technical security audits and produce actionable recommendations
- Design and implement security baselines for operating systems
- Ensure incident handling and reporting procedures are followed
- Educate and train staff on IT security best practices
- Investigate and utilize new technologies, tools, and techniques to enhance security capabilities
- Maintain up-to-date security documentation and best practices
- Participate in change management workflows to ensure secure implementation
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience in IT security roles
- Hands-on experience with vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Proven ability to implement proper system security controls, metrics, and performance indicators
- Solid knowledge of security frameworks and industry best practices
- Experience with enterprise security tools (e.g., SIEM, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection)
- Strong understanding of operating system security (Windows, Linux)
- Excellent communication skills in English
- This is a full-time, on-site role, requiring your presence in the office to support collaboration
Nice to have
- Experience securing multi-site or international environments
- Сloud security experience
- Scripting skills for security automation (Python, Bash, PowerShell, etc.)
- Gaming industry experience
