Director of Content

Last Energy (LE) seeks a Director of Content to oversee content generation. This person will develop and implement asset deployment and best practices to ensure content is consistently and effectively positioned across all relevant channels. 
Reporting to the VP of Marketing, and leading the content team, this position will play an integral role in promoting LE.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

    • Develop & own the creation and execution of content strategy including Podcasts, White Papers, Op-Eds, Presentations, 1-sheets, and more
    • Create monthly and quarterly content calendars and establish a workflow for requesting, creating, editing, publishing, and retiring content
    • Work with the Head of Marketing and BizDev teams to define our target audience and map buying journeys to determine the best allocation of content
    • Manage a team of internal and external content resources including designers, writers, animators, etc
    • Create & maintain a review process to ensure branding, tone & voice are consistent across all content pieces
    • Measure the impact of our content strategy as well as the performance of individual assets, and proactively refine our resource allocation and prioritization accordingly


    • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in marketing, journalism, or related field
    • 6+ years of developing high-quality written and digital content
    • Experience producing content across a range of formats e.g. written, visual, live event (both in-person and online)
    • A keen eye for design; familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite, Canva or other design tools is a plus
    • Excellent written communication skills with the ability to synthesize complex information into compelling content.
