Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Construction Safety Manager with a strong understanding of OSHA regulations to join our construction management team. The ideal candidate will assist in implementing and maintaining safety protocols, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and fostering a culture of safety on all job sites.

Responsibilities:

    • Safety Compliance:
    • Monitor construction sites to ensure compliance with OSHA standards, company safety policies, and local regulations.
    • Conduct safety inspections, audits, and assessments to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
    • Assist in preparing and maintaining detailed reports, including incident logs, safety observations, and compliance documentation.
    • Training and Education:
    • Support the development and delivery of safety training programs for workers and subcontractors.
    • Educate site personnel on OSHA regulations, safe work practices, and hazard recognition.
    • Incident Response and Reporting:
    • Assist in investigating accidents, incidents, and near-misses to determine root causes and recommend preventive measures.
    • Compile and submit detailed incident reports to the Senior Safety Manager and regulatory agencies as required.
    • Collaboration:
    • Work closely with project managers, foremen, and site supervisors to promote a safe working environment.
    • Participate in safety meetings and toolbox talks to reinforce safety priorities.
    • Continuous Improvement:
    • Stay updated on changes to OSHA regulations and industry best practices.
    • Recommend and implement safety process improvements to minimize risks.
