We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Construction Safety Manager with a strong understanding of OSHA regulations to join our construction management team. Responsibilities:
- Safety Compliance:
- Monitor construction sites to ensure compliance with OSHA standards, company safety policies, and local regulations.
- Conduct safety inspections, audits, and assessments to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
- Assist in preparing and maintaining detailed reports, including incident logs, safety observations, and compliance documentation.
- Training and Education:
- Support the development and delivery of safety training programs for workers and subcontractors.
- Educate site personnel on OSHA regulations, safe work practices, and hazard recognition.
- Incident Response and Reporting:
- Assist in investigating accidents, incidents, and near-misses to determine root causes and recommend preventive measures.
- Compile and submit detailed incident reports to the Senior Safety Manager and regulatory agencies as required.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with project managers, foremen, and site supervisors to promote a safe working environment.
- Participate in safety meetings and toolbox talks to reinforce safety priorities.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Stay updated on changes to OSHA regulations and industry best practices.
- Recommend and implement safety process improvements to minimize risks.
$70,000 - $80,000 a year
