Job Summary: 

The Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for developing, implementing, and improving manufacturing processes to increase efficiency, ensure product quality, and reduce costs within the aerospace or avionics industry. The ideal candidate will have experience in process, quality, or applications engineering, with a strong focus on continuous improvement and adherence to industry standards.

Responsibilities:

    • Process Engineering:
    • Design, develop, and optimize manufacturing processes to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
    • Analyze production data to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.
    • Develop and maintain process documentation, including work instructions, process flow diagrams, and control plans.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of new processes and technologies.
    • Quality Engineering:
    • Implement and maintain quality control systems to ensure product compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.
    • Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for product quality issues.
    • Perform regular audits and inspections of manufacturing processes to ensure adherence to quality standards.
    • Develop and maintain quality documentation, including control plans, inspection plans, and quality reports.
    • Applications Engineering:
    • Provide technical support for the development and implementation of new products and technologies.
    • Work closely with customers to understand their requirements and provide solutions to meet their needs.
    • Conduct feasibility studies and provide technical recommendations for new projects and product improvements.
    • Collaborate with design and development teams to ensure manufacturability of new products.
