We are seeking a Sales Director in the Bay Area to develop and build out a sales team identifying new customers in the Bay area - customers from the Construction Industry.
This candidate will be in charge of defining, targeting, and building out a customer pipeline to drive revenue. Ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience with growing a new market and building out a sales team.
Day to Day
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet and exceed revenue targets.
- Cultivate strong relationships with developers, general contractors, architects, engineers, and key decision-makers.
- Lead the full sales cycle from prospecting and proposal development to contract negotiation and closing.
- Act as the primary point of contact for key accounts, ensuring client satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
- Anticipate client needs and provide tailored solutions that align with project requirements and budgets.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to strengthen brand presence.
- Monitor MEP Market/Industry, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities.
- Most importantly the ability to articulate to leadership HOW you will go about defining a new customer base and why you are targeting specific customers but also how you will go about or how you will turn these potential leads into sales
Skills/Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (preferred).
- Minimum 10 years of proven sales experience in the construction industry or related sectors.
- Strong network and established relationships with industry stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to close large-scale, complex construction projects.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
