Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated AV Technician/Field Engineer to join our growing team. This role is responsible for the installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and support of audiovisual (AV) systems across a variety of environments, including corporate offices, education centers, hospitality venues, and event spaces. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with AV technologies and thrives in fast-paced, client-facing environments.
Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and test AV equipment including displays, projectors, video walls, audio systems, control systems, and conferencing technologies.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues on-site and remotely.
- Read and interpret technical schematics, floor plans, and wiring diagrams.
- Conduct pre-site inspections and post-installation checks to ensure quality and compliance with client specifications.
- Coordinate with project managers, vendors, and other trades to ensure timely and accurate installations.
- Provide training and technical support to clients on installed systems.
- Document all installations, configurations, and issues for ongoing support and reference.
- Ensure all work meets safety, code, and quality standards.
