We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled Network Technician to join our IT team. The Network Technician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing network systems to ensure reliable connectivity and performance. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, knowledge of networking hardware and protocols, and the ability to provide excellent support to end users.
This role involves daily travel to client sites in the Baltimore/Baltimore County area
This is a contract position likely running through February/March 2026
Salary: $24-25/hr
Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, cabling, and wireless access points.
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues.
- Perform routine network maintenance, updates, and security patches.
- Assist with the setup and support of LAN, WAN, and VPN connections.
- Respond to user support requests and resolve network-related problems.
- Document network changes, configurations, and incidents.
$24 - $25 an hour
