Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Sensor Network Engineer with expertise in Python, Java, cloud technologies, and networking. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working with sensor networks, troubleshooting connectivity issues, and ensuring data reliability and accuracy from various sensor devices. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining sensor networks, as well as integrating these networks with cloud platforms to support real-time data processing and analysis. This poistion is remote.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop sensor networks to support real-time monitoring and data collection.
- Deploy and integrate sensors with existing network infrastructure and cloud services.
- Utilize Python and Java to develop and maintain applications that process, analyze, and transmit sensor data.
- Monitor and troubleshoot network performance to ensure consistent data flow between sensor devices and cloud platforms.
- Collaborate with cloud engineering teams to develop and optimize cloud-based architectures for sensor data storage and processing.
- Configure and maintain network security protocols to protect sensor data and ensure system integrity.
- Analyze and interpret data to identify and resolve issues within the sensor network.
- Document procedures and provide technical support for troubleshooting network or sensor-related issues.
- Evaluate new sensor technologies and network tools to improve system performance and reliability.
