Job Title: Project Controls Engineer

Position Overview:
The Project Controls Engineer will play a key role in the successful execution of data center projects by managing project schedules, budgets, and progress tracking. This role will involve working closely with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure timely project delivery. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in data center construction projects and expertise in using Primavera P6.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop, manage, and update detailed project schedules using Primavera P6, ensuring that all milestones are tracked and met.
Monitor project progress and make adjustments to schedules as needed to avoid delays.
Coordinate with project teams, including engineering, procurement, and construction, to ensure alignment with the project schedule.
Provide accurate cost control, budgeting, and forecasting for data center projects.
Track project risks, issues, and changes, providing recommendations for mitigation or resolution.
Prepare regular project reports, including progress updates, earned value analysis, and performance metrics.
Ensure compliance with contract requirements, technical specifications, and industry standards.
Assist in the development of work breakdown structures (WBS) and project baselines.
Support project teams with resource allocation, cost estimation, and change management processes.
Collaborate with stakeholders to identify areas for improvement and optimize project efficiency.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
5+ years of experience as a Project Controls Engineer, with at least 3 years on data center or mission-critical projects.
Proficiency in Primavera P6 for scheduling and project control.
Strong understanding of construction processes, cost control, and risk management.
Experience with earned value management and performance analysis.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of industry standards and best practices in data center construction

Preferred:
Experience with cost management software and tools.
PMP certification or equivalent.
$80,000 - $120,000 a year
