We are seeking a full-time Sterile Compounding Pharmacist to join our team. This team member will oversee compounding activities in the cleanroom and have direct oversight of compounding technicians. Responsibilities include work order entry, cleanroom compounding, formula and product development, deviation investigation, and batch review prior to product release. This position involves working with the quality unit on pharmacy events and is responsible for some supervisory and administrative tasks.

You will be part of a team that is dedicated to providing premium quality compounds to patients and clinics nationwide. With our two separate, state-of-the-art facilities, supports both patient-specific and office-use needs across the U.S., enabling our customers to comply with all national and state regulatory requirements while having the convenience of a single-source pharmacy partner. 

The ideal candidate will have an extensive knowledge in sterile compounding pharmaceuticals. The candidate must also have a strong understanding of FDA regulations and guidance’s on good manufacturing practices. Furthermore, this person will have demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships, trust, and respect with clients and peers. 
$145 - $155 a year
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

 Supervise compounding, labeling, and daily operations in the pharmacy
 Complete accurate logs of controlled substances and compounding records
 Perform both pre-and-post compounding operational checks
 Accept and incorporate new ideas and protocols in the workflow including process improvements and corrective actions
 Recognize priorities and act, accordingly, make productive use of time
 Participate as required in CAPA investigations
 Supervise and assist technician preparing sterile admixtures
 Ensure compounding is performed according to SOP and batch record directions
 Maintain pharmacy finished products inventory on a real-time basis
 Enforce applicable personnel policies and procedures
 Strive to resolve conflicts and problems on his/her own initiative maintaining a positive work environment 

Skills & Requirements:

 Bachelor’s Degree (B.S) in pharmacy
 Requirement: sterile compounding experience
 Must be currently licensed to practice in the state (Florida).
 Multiple state licenses preferred.
 Two to Five year of experience in managing or working with technicians
