We are looking for a skilled and reliable CNC Machinist to set up and operate computer numerical control (CNC) machines to produce precision metal and plastic parts. The ideal candidate will have experience with interpreting blueprints, using precision measuring tools, and maintaining tight tolerances in a fast-paced production environment.
This role is 4–10-hour rotation days. 1st and 2nd shift available
1st Shift: 6am to 4:30pm
2nd Shift: 4:15pm to 2:45am
Salary: $20-28/hr depending on experience
Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC machines (mills, lathes, or multi-axis equipment) to perform various machining operations.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD models to ensure proper machining specifications.
- Load raw materials into machines and monitor operations to ensure quality and accuracy.
- Adjust machine settings and tooling to maintain dimensional accuracy within required tolerances.
- Perform in-process inspections using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision measuring instruments.
- Troubleshoot and resolve basic machine errors, tool wear, and setup issues.
- Maintain accurate production and inspection records.
$20 - $28 an hour
