We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Construction Manager to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of experience in project management, with a focus on the construction industry. This entry-level management role will provide support to senior managers in overseeing construction projects, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Support: Assist senior construction managers in the daily operations of construction projects, ensuring smooth execution from start to finish.
- Scheduling & Coordination: Help develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring deadlines are met and all project milestones are achieved on time.
- Site Supervision: Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, ensure compliance with safety standards, and address any issues or delays.
- Budget Management: Assist in tracking and managing project budgets, reviewing costs, and ensuring that the project remains within the allocated financial resources.
- Vendor & Contractor Management: Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors to ensure materials and resources are available as needed for the project.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure construction work meets quality standards, specifications, and regulatory requirements by conducting inspections and reviews.
- Documentation & Reporting: Prepare and maintain accurate project documentation, including daily logs, progress reports, and status updates for senior management.
- Problem Solving: Identify potential project risks or issues and propose solutions to mitigate or resolve them efficiently.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other team members, architects, engineers, and clients to ensure that the project objectives and goals are aligned and successfully met.
