Job Summary: 

The Architectural Project Manager will oversee the planning, design, and execution of residential home building and commercial real estate projects. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of architectural principles, project management methodologies, and industry standards. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing architectural projects from concept to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.

Responsibilities:

    • Project Management:
    • Lead and manage all phases of architectural projects, including initial client meetings, design development, construction documentation, and construction administration.
    • Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets, and ensure adherence throughout the project lifecycle.
    • Coordinate with clients, contractors, consultants, and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements and expectations are met.
    • Design and Documentation:
    • Oversee the creation of design concepts and detailed architectural drawings using CAD and BIM software.
    • Ensure all designs comply with local building codes, zoning laws, and regulations.
    • Review and approve construction documents, specifications, and shop drawings.
    • Client and Stakeholder Communication:
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining regular communication to provide updates and address any concerns.
    • Facilitate meetings with clients and stakeholders to discuss project progress, changes, and approvals.
    • Team Leadership:
    • Lead and mentor a team of architects, designers, and support staff, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
    • Delegate tasks effectively and ensure team members meet project deadlines and quality standards.
    • Construction Administration:
    • Monitor construction progress, conduct site visits, and ensure compliance with design specifications and quality standards.
    • Address and resolve any issues or discrepancies that arise during the construction phase.
    • Review and approve contractor invoices and change orders.
    • Quality Control and Compliance:
    • Implement quality control processes to ensure the highest level of design and construction standards.
    • Ensure all projects adhere to company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
