Latitude Inc. is on the lookout for an enthusiastic and driven Test & Evaluation Engineer Support Specialist.
 
Key Responsibilities:

As a Test & Evaluation Engineer, you'll play a pivotal role in the success of our projects. Your responsibilities will include:

·         Collaborating with CWL and MTWS engineers to conduct testing and integration.
·         Employing a professional and confident approach when working with various engineering groups and external entities to define, document, analyze, conduct, and interpret tests.
·         Identifying functional issues and proposing effective resolutions.
·         Operating in a fast-paced, integrated product development team comprising professionals from multiple contracting organizations and DoD laboratory entities.
·         Developing and analyzing test cases while providing regular progress updates.
·         Reporting to a supervisor or manager, demonstrating a high degree of autonomy in your work.
·         Navy or submarine experience is a valuable asset
 
Specific Responsibilities:
·         Your day-to-day tasks will involve:
·         Crafting comprehensive test procedures.
·         Proficiently utilizing electrical measurement tools, such as oscilloscopes and multimeters.
·         Conducting Verification and Validation for corrective changes.
·         Performing installations, rip-outs, testing, and validation of tactical systems.
·         Assisting in configuring the lab in accordance with relevant drawings and port maps.
·         Supporting informal and formal test events, as well as other customer-driven test activities.
·         Identifying, analyzing, and documenting software, firmware, and hardware defects and collaborating with the engineering team to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
·         Occasional travel to submarine home ports for Field Services activities.
·         Supporting the Logistics team in the development of installation and operation procedures.
