Position Overview: 

The MSP Consultant III is a senior-level position responsible for delivering expert-level technical support, consulting, and project management services within a managed service provider (MSP) environment. This role requires extensive experience in systems and network administration, along with a deep understanding of IT infrastructure, cloud services, and cybersecurity. The MSP Consultant III will lead complex projects, mentor junior consultants, and work directly with clients to design, implement, and optimize their IT environments. Company vehicle provided for local travel.

Responsibilities:

    • Advanced Client Consultation & Support:
    • Provide expert-level technical support and troubleshooting for complex issues related to servers, networks, cloud environments, and cybersecurity.
    • Perform in-depth assessments of client IT infrastructure and develop strategic plans to align technology with business objectives.
    • Act as a senior technical advisor, guiding clients through technology decisions and implementations.
    • Systems & Network Design and Implementation:
    • Lead the design, deployment, and management of advanced IT solutions, including server and network infrastructure, virtualization, cloud services (AWS, Azure), and security protocols.
    • Manage complex IT projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
    • Technical Leadership:
    • Mentor and provide guidance to junior consultants and technical staff, fostering a collaborative and knowledge-sharing environment.
    • Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to continuously improve service offerings.
    • Client Relationship Management:
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
    • Conduct regular client reviews to assess IT performance, identify areas for improvement, and propose new solutions or upgrades.
    • Security & Compliance:
    • Ensure that client systems adhere to industry-standard security practices and compliance regulations.
    • Implement and manage cybersecurity measures, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and endpoint protection.
