Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Java Backend Developer with strong Spring Boot experience to join our dynamic development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining backend services and APIs that are scalable, robust, and efficient. You will work closely with front-end developers, DevOps, and other cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality applications.
Due to Government Contract and Regulations, all viable candidates must be US Citizens and have an active US Public Trust
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
- Design and build RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
- Implement best practices for system performance, scalability, and security.
- Collaborate with front-end developers and other team members to ensure smooth integration between front-end and back-end systems.
- Optimize existing services for performance and scalability.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing software systems.
- Ensure code quality through test-driven development (TDD), continuous integration, and code reviews.
- Contribute to the design and development of databases, both relational (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Cassandra).
- Write well-documented, maintainable code and participate in agile processes (Scrum, Kanban).
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 4+ years of experience in Java development.
- Active Public Trust and US Citizenship
