Position Summary:
The Contracts Manager will oversee the full lifecycle of federal contracts—ranging from small business set-asides to large-scale prime and subcontract awards—supporting programs in IT, Cybersecurity, and Engineering. This role is responsible for ensuring compliance with federal acquisition regulations (FAR/DFARS), managing negotiations, and supporting business operations by advising on contractual risks, obligations, and opportunities.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the full contract lifecycle, including proposal support, negotiation, execution, modifications, and closeout for both prime and subcontract agreements.
- Interpret and apply FAR, DFARS, and other federal regulations to ensure compliance across all contract activities.
- Collaborate with program management, finance, legal, and business development teams to provide contractual guidance and risk assessments.
- Draft, review, and negotiate NDAs, teaming agreements, subcontracts, and other contractual documents.
- Support proposal development by reviewing RFPs/RFQs, identifying contract requirements, and developing compliant cost and contractual responses.
- Administer both large-scale federal contracts (DoD, DHS, GSA, etc.) and small business contracts (SBIR, 8(a), or set-aside awards).
- Provide contractual oversight on programs involving IT infrastructure, Cybersecurity operations, software development, and Engineering services.
- Maintain organized contract files, track deliverables, and monitor compliance milestones.
- Prepare and present contract reports, summaries, and risk analyses to leadership.
- Assist with audits and internal compliance reviews.
$120,000 - $140,000 a year
