We are looking for an experienced Portal Java Developer to join our team.
Duties
- Lead the development of complex web portal solutions using IBM WebSphere Portal and Java technologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, to define project requirements and specifications.
- Design and implement HCL Portal Themes and Skins.
- Optimize portal performance and ensure high availability and scalability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, providing guidance to junior developers.
- Conduct code reviews and promote best practices in coding and architecture.
- Mentor and train team members on WebSphere Portal development and related technologies.
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive continuous improvement.
Requirements
- 6+ years of enterprise software development experience.
- Must be a U.S Citizen due to having to obtain a clearance and working with government entities.
- Has an active Public Trust or ability to obtain one is required.
- Must be a US citizen due to having the ability to obtain a Public Trust and work with government entities.
- Experience with Portlets, Themes and Skins.
- Experience using web applications using JSF, My Faces and Struts.
- Understands WebSphere Portal Server and WebSphere Content Management (WCM)
