Job Summary:

The Configuration Management (CM) Associate will be responsible for supporting the execution of the Configuration Management and change control processes within the organization. This includes managing change control boards (CCB), overseeing approval processes, adjudicating comments, and facilitating Configuration Management audits. The ideal candidate will ensure that configuration items are accurately tracked, changes are implemented following standard procedures, and that proper documentation is maintained throughout the project lifecycle. This is a 3 month contract to hire.

Responsibilities:

    • Configuration Management Process Execution:
    • Execute and maintain the Configuration Management (CM) and change control process across projects.
    • Ensure configuration items (CIs) are identified, documented, and maintained throughout their lifecycle.
    • Track and report on the status of configuration items and any changes to them.
    • Change Control Management:
    • Facilitate and support the Change Control Board (CCB) meetings, ensuring proper communication and coordination.
    • Oversee the approval process for changes, ensuring that all stakeholders are consulted.
    • Adjudicate comments and feedback on changes, ensuring they are addressed and resolved in a timely manner.
    • Documentation and Reporting:
    • Maintain accurate records of all CM activities, including change requests, configuration item status, and approvals.
    • Generate CM reports for stakeholders, detailing the status of configuration items, changes, and audit results.
    • Ensure documentation is compliant with internal and external standards and regulations.
    • Audits and Compliance:
    • Facilitate and conduct Configuration Management audits to ensure adherence to CM processes and policies.
    • Identify and address non-conformances during audits, working with relevant stakeholders to resolve any issues.
    • Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and best practices for Configuration Management.
    • Stakeholder Collaboration:
    • Work closely with engineering, project management, and quality teams to ensure smooth execution of the CM process.
    • Provide training and guidance to team members on CM processes, tools, and best practices.
$20 - $30 an hour
