Responsibilities:

• System Design:
• Collaborate with project managers and clients to develop detailed AV system designs tailored to specific needs.
• Use AutoCAD to create and revise AV system schematics, layouts, and as-built documentation.
• Develop comprehensive signal flow diagrams to ensure optimal system integration and functionality.
• Technical Expertise:
• Apply deep knowledge of signal flow, ensuring the proper routing of audio, video, and control signals.
• Select appropriate AV equipment, including displays, speakers, microphones, amplifiers, and control systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve AV system issues related to signal flow, connectivity, and integration.
• Installation and Configuration:
• Oversee the installation of AV systems, ensuring compliance with design specifications and industry standards.
• Program and configure AV systems, including control systems (e.g., Crestron, AMX, etc.), DSPs, and video conferencing setups.
• Collaboration and Support:
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including architects, electrical engineers, and IT departments, to ensure seamless AV integration into larger projects.
• Provide technical support and training to end-users on the operation of installed AV systems.
• Maintain strong communication with clients and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
• Documentation and Maintenance:
• Maintain up-to-date documentation for all AV systems, including system design, signal flow diagrams, and equipment manuals.
• Perform regular maintenance, updates, and repairs to ensure long-term reliability and performance of AV systems.
