Overview: 

The Electrical Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems and equipment in a manufacturing or industrial setting. This role ensures the efficient operation of machinery and equipment by performing regular maintenance and repairs, adhering to safety standards, and minimizing downtime.

- Shifts Available: 6am-6pm or 6pm-6am
- Shift time alternates every 4 weeks
- Weekend work every other week

Responsibilities:

    • Preventive Maintenance:
    • Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems, equipment, and components.
    • Perform preventive maintenance tasks such as cleaning, lubrication, and parts replacement.
    • Maintain records of all maintenance and repair activities.
    • Troubleshooting and Repairs:
    • Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues in machinery and equipment.
    • Repair or replace faulty electrical components, such as wiring, motors, and control systems.
    • Ensure all repairs are completed efficiently and effectively to minimize production downtime.
    • Installation and Upgrades:
    • Assist in the installation and commissioning of new electrical equipment and systems.
    • Upgrade existing electrical systems to improve efficiency and safety.
    • Safety and Compliance:
    • Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
    • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal electrical codes and regulations.
    • Participate in safety training and initiatives.
    • Documentation and Reporting:
    • Maintain accurate records of electrical maintenance and repair activities.
    • Report any recurring issues to the Maintenance Supervisor/Manager.
    • Suggest improvements to maintenance processes and procedures.
    • Collaboration:
    • Work closely with other maintenance team members and production staff to coordinate maintenance activities.
    • Communicate effectively with colleagues and management regarding maintenance issues and solutions.
$28 - $45 an hour
Compensation range includes base plus OTE.
